It is easier to give a low estimate over the phone, without seeing your household, as some of our competitors do. Do not fool yourself. If the price seems too good to be true, it certainly is not true. It is just a trap to have you book your move. As they have not seen the items, they will come up with a lot of extra fees after they arrive at your home to start the move. The low price will double. They are there,  you must move, you will end up paying what they charge.

When Triumph's agent  visit you and give you a written quote, this is the amount you will be charged on the moving day. We are licensed and insured and we work by the book of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Broward County Consumer Affairs Division.

POMPANO BEACH Moving Guide and TIPS

Pompano Beach is a city in northeast Broward County, in the heart of Florida's Gold Coast, with a total area of 22.15 square miles (57 km2). Located along the Atlantic Ocean, the city has about 3.5 miles of golden beachfront that extends from the intersection of State Road A1A and Terra Mar Drive to the Hillsboro Inlet and is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.

Pompano Beach boundaries are: Hillsboro Beach & Lighthouse Point (NE), Deerfield Beach (N), Coconut Creek (W), Margate & North Lauderdale (SW), Fort Lauderdale (S), Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (SE). The city’s landmark is the Hillsboro Lighthouse.

The City of Pompano Beach has a population of 104,402 year round, but from September through March the number of residents raises to 150,000 due to the so called “snow-birds”, a substantial seasonal population who spends its winters in the area, enjoying its most important resource: the sun. Pompano Beach is the third largest of Broward County's 29 municipalities.

Pompano was settled about 1900 as a farming and fishing community. Located exactly mid-way between Palm Beach and Miami, the city was at one point the southernmost railroad station of the famous Florida East Coast Railway built by Henry Flagler, which linked South Florida to rest of the country. On February 22, 1986 the first train arrived in Pompano. On June 6, 1908, thirty-one voters created their new municipality, the city of Pompano, a jurisdiction of Palm Beach County. In 1947, when it was officially part of Dade County, the city of Pompano merged with the beach area to become the City of Pompano Beach.

The City’s name comes from the Florida pompano (trachinotus carolinus), a species of in-shore-tropical game fish found off the Atlantic coast. It is said that Frank Sheene, a railroad's employee, gave the city its name when writing down the name of the fish he had for dinner one evening during his survey of the shoreline.

During the Florida land boom of the 1920s Pompano Beach experienced significant growth and played an important role in Southeast Florida development. In the late 20th century a wave of new residents moved there from the northern parts of the US.

Today, Pompano’s economy is based on tourism, retail, light manufacturing, and high technology with 3,000 acres set aside for industrial and commercial development.

Pompano Beach’s central location (approximately 33 miles to Miami and Palm Beach) provides the lifestyle of a quiet seaside community with the benefits of a major metropolitan area. Pompano Beach is only 12 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades, which provides access to the global marketplace. The City is the center of the Internet Coast in South Florida, which provide Latin American countries with Internet service.

In recent years, an effort to rejuvenate rundown areas, an example of urban blight, the city's beach has gained momentum and is undergoing a multibillion dollar building boom.

As a tourist mecca, Pompano Beach offers around 2,000 tourist accommodations, 200+ restaurants, great golf courses, 3.5 miles of sandy white beach, a myriad of entertaining options and annual special events as well, such as Pompano Beach Seafood Festival, a holiday boat parade and fishing rodeo. Pompano Beach Airpark, located within the city, is the home of the Goodyear Blimp Spirit of Innovation.

During the season, every Saturday, the Pompano Beach Green Market is presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society, at Flagler Avenue and NE First Street from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Visitors will find the best and freshest fruits and vegetables, seafood, baked goods, juices, gourmet teas and coffees, plants, orchids, art, books and historical images, health-related products and services.

Pompano Beach is also known as the "swordfish capital of the world", due to its excellent boating, diving and fishing. The city offers a 1.800-ft fishing pier, beachside playgrounds, grills and picnic tables, 19 local parks for sports enthusiasts, numerous marinas which offers fishing and diving excursions, small boat rentals. You will be amazed at the beauty of the only coral reef system in the continental United States.
